  4. FKuR Kunststoff GmbH (B4-4405): : I'm green™ bio-based PE

Limited resources, stricter regulations and the need to decarbonize make the circular economy a key challenge for the plastics industry. The tour showcases innovative materials, recyclate solutions and efficient recycling technologies. Practical examples demonstrate how post-consumer and post-industrial recyclates can meet demanding technical requirements, while alternatives to fossil raw materials and metals are emerging. Intelligent technologies can also help reduce energy, material and operating costs. The tour highlights how sustainability and cost efficiency can go hand in hand.

These products and technologies can be seen during the tour:

  1. Addiplast Group (A7-7004):ADDICIRCLE®
The new product range combines 20 to 100% post-consumer or post-industrial recycled material with virgin-level mechanical performance. Tailor-made solutions help companies reduce their environmental footprint while meeting decarbonization targets and regulatory requirements.
  2. Barlog Plastics GmbH (A3-3109): KEBALLOY® ECO Compounds
These new developed compounds combine high-quality post-consumer recycled material with high-performance material properties, opening up sustainable alternatives to virgin materials and metallic materials. Equal emphasis is placed on performance, cost efficiency, and processability.
  3. Cold Jet GmbH (B3-3110): Aero2 PCS® Ultra This smart dry ice cleaning solution conserves resources, uses no water or chemicals, and leaves no secondary waste. The non-abrasive process protects tools and moulds and effectively removes recycled material deposits – using recycled industrial CO₂.
  4. FKuR Kunststoff GmbH (B4-4405): I'm green™ bio-based PE
This bio-based PE replaces fossil-based polyethylene as a drop-in solution and can be processed on existing equipment without modifications. Recyclable and with a drastically lower carbon footprint, it offers a practical solution for resource-efficient products and a more circular economy.
  5. Hellweg Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG (A1-1005): Smart control solutions for shredding machines
Intelligent solutions optimize energy consumption, fines and dust content, and blade life, making processes measurably more efficient. Furthermore, the collection of throughput data and machine conditions enables predictive maintenance – for greater process reliability, lower operating costs, and increased plant availability.
  6. Intertek Polychemlab B.V. (B2-2225): Testing, characterization, and regulatory compliance for recyclates: Comprehensive solutions support the safe and efficient use of recycled plastics – from material and quality testing to recyclability assessment. Tailored services also help meet regulatory requirements such as ELV and PPWR and successfully implement sustainable polymer applications.
  7. Josef Mawick Kunststoff-Spritzgusswerk GmbH & Co. KG (B4-4405): Carrier module for photovoltaic/solar panels
Development of a weight-optimized carrier module made from post-consumer recycled material as an alternative to metal – with UV protection – and the successful implementation of the project using injection molding. The carrier module, which will be exhibited on-site at Fakuma, demonstrates how circular economy principles, technical safety, and cost efficiency can be combined in sophisticated components.
